Have a merry CPK christmas.

Last night I finally motivated myself to do something Jill had been asking me to do for a few days now. The results of which I have to say I am very proud of, you see, there was this competition on one of Jills favourite websites connected to Cabbage Patch Kids and a holiday theme. I had not seen what the standard of picture was required and therefore continued uninhibited in my creativity. I had a sleigh from a promo that we did at work last year and placed the father christmas character inside it, then we placed a reindeer kid at the helm of the sleigh led by some rein back to father christmas, add into the mix an elf and a snowman figurine and a christmas tree and the final picture we think is very good. The picture was placed onto the website for voting and whilst we may be biased, we think it is pretty damn good. The picture was placed on the home page of the website and it is safe to say that the picture was liked. Take a look and comment.

News of a visit to Ireland.

Hello everyone, well I am amazed that it has been about a month since my last post....I feel a bit like I'm in church or something giving my confession (bless me father it has been a month since my last post). Maybe I was suffering from the ole writers block...yeah thats a good excuse. Well the fact probably has been my eternal laziness, sher its been always a good excuse. Anyway readers I do intend on detailing my life as it is now and as it has been and as it will be in the weeks, months, years ahead. This means tidying up pieces from months back and trying to make this space readable again. So for those of you who have checked back from time to time and are reading this now....I will say welcome back and happy reading.

Latest news is I will be flying back to Ireland for a wedding this weekend. My cousin Rosemary (I'm sure I will have to post about this aswell) is getting hitched. Dont know too much about the details right now only that I have to turn up and all the finer details are being taken care of. I do however have to drive 3 hours to Leitrim the same day I arrive in Ireland at around 7am (Friday). I have not in the past had time to drop into old friends at my old workplace and dearly hope I get the chance this time as it is criminal to not say hello to those whom I have shared good times, even if it was at work. The work culture between Ireland and America is so different and one of the facets of it is that over here you just dont get any amount of real holiday time. However my boss has allowed me to take the time to come over Friday/Saturday and Sunday and I fly out early Monday. As a consequence of this work has been very busy and posting has suffered. So for those of you who have read this, you will know that I may possibly be coming and for those of you who havent read this I will really surprise you on Friday morning. Here's hoping I make it now.
