Indian summer coming to an end.
Hello everyone, or just those select few who choose for some reason to come back to me. Well as one might imagine after being away from writing for the last few weeks I may have a lot to say, this is true there has been a lot going on and I will get to all of that. However I feel it is iportant to relay the main news from the states today is the fact that this is probably going to be the last really great hot and sunny day. Yesterday temperatures of 90+ degrees fahrenheit / 30 degrees celsius were recorded and today we are told will be somewhat similiar. The days to come will see a cooler front and the balmy days of summer will be a recent memory. We cant really complain as my home country of Ireland had one of the worst summers in memory with something like 60 days of continuous rain. Intentionally we have made our summer very very busy and I apologise to those whom I have missed phone calls from. Believe me when I say I will catch up wth you all really soon. The recent weeks have been busy with my family visiting and doctors visits (but more of that later).
Summer planned down to the last, trips to western Pennsylvania, waterparks, beaches, festivals packed with great music and pricey food, concerts in New York and days at the pool. Summer 2007 will be one that I will remember for a long time punctuated by the song "Umbrella". Jill and I would joke about this as on hot weekends we would get to the pool 30-45 mins early to ensure we would be first in line for the 8-10 umbrellas at the pool. We would say "we have to get to the pool for our Umbrella, Umbrella eh eh eh" you know the Rihanna song. There are other reasons for which summer 2007 will be memorable not least the reason for my doctors trips as mentioned above. For now it is the onset of autumn.
