Perhaps 10 days ago we had a snow system that dumped about 2-3 inches of snow, soft fluffy stuff and very light. Coming back home from work one night was very tricky. Just after I took this picture about five minutes from the house the traffic lights turned green and I had some real trouble getting any traction in the slushy fluffy snow. I did eventually get moving. It was then when I was really only a matter of seconds away from the house that while slowing for a caution stop sign coming to a hill of about 45 degrees incline. I knew I would need some real momentum to make it but I lost traction and there was no where to go. I was stationary and reving hard. Some teenagers came to try and push me but soon all I was doing was burning rubber. Here I was with now real bald tires and so close to home. I thought I would have to abandon car and walk home. With all entries to the road to the house having some kind of incline I decided to get to the one with the smallest incline, however this meant a 15 minute drive to drive the level gradient roads and with bald tires. I finally had to come all the way around again to enter the grounds of the school and bus depot to finally get home. It had been such an ordeal and I was so glad to get back to the warmth of a house and rest easy.
